I saw a stupid pigeon this morning hopping around frantically trying to remove a long twig that was stuck under its wing. I felt so bad for it, so I walked over, planning to pull the twig out, but it freaked out and flapped away.
As I walked back onto the side walk, I saw several people glaring at me like I was some kind of depraved animal abuser.
I was just going to pull the twig out! Really!!
