I haven't been blogging lately.
Update on what I've done with my summer in no particular order:

Slept a lot.
Ate a lot.
Watched a lot of tv/movies.
X-men 2 and Matrix Reloaded. Both very good.
Bought full sized bed sheet for apt. next year.
Shopped, ate steak, played games with Dobie 210.
Learned a lot about cars. Got a car.
Learned to make really yummy lasagna and spaghetti and strawberry shortcake.
Tinted hair kinda red (washes out in 24 shampoos)
Went to a pool party where I didn't want to swim but was forced to because a #$)(*% splashed and soaked my clothes. I had to get in to attempt to kill him by filling his lungs with chlorinated water.
Read a lot of my old books. Classics never get old.
Ate sushi with ABSA big sib Shanna and siblings for last time.
Tried to give self french manicure. tried. didn't work.
Tinted christine's hair plum and david's sister sarah's hair golden blonde.
I sleep a loT.

Still have to:
Take cousins Gloria & Angeline (9&10) to see Finding Nemo. Anyone with little relatives want to join?
Go to Europe with family, relatives, family friends. 6/5-6/24
Go to Austin to visit Christy, recruit for ABSA, make banner with Vivian.
Go to CYC.
Paint.
Take dance classes? (ballroom? salsa? swing?)
Learn to cook more.

I can't think anymore. I need to sleep.

it usually all works out in the end
I'm grateful for everything I have; even though I don't act like it sometimes...

hsiaodog: well... if i was buying a new 4 door car that is not too small... i would buy the BMW 540i... but for something more affordable, i'd go for Mazda6 or any of the Nissan cars

Shobiz25: you should buy a 3 seirs beamer, or an acura TL

tsungcc: how about a ford taurus? not too small, but i think it's considered a compact...it has a slender design, which i feel could complement ur particular looks...granted it isn't exactly one of those baller cars like ur other friends are trying to sell you, but it'd get you from here to there comfortably...i think it'd suit you

UT Mike R: i suggest the Fiat Multipla
UT Mike R: but thats kinda manual
UT Mike R: so maybe the Diahatsu Sirion
UT Mike R: with its powerfull superhighefficient 989-cc, 3-cylinder engine

ekWeIzN: mini-cooper for you, little one

na foo its john: infiniti g20!

sunflower3826: a vw passat

MyBirdReex: no four doors for you.. especially since you don't have any little stephanie's around. Yihong 281: get a beatle, steph..=P

Moo the MagicCow: I see you driving a 1994 Maroon Subaru Loyale, complete with expired inspection sticker, expired license plates, and a muffler that wouldn't pass inspection if my life depended on it.

SilverDragon129: well....it's not an asian car, but knowing your expensive tastes, I'd say a jetta :-)
SilverDragon129: Sticking with your usual hondas work too, though

a11ie baba: what about the toyota solara? it's a camry coupe and it looks waaaaay better

a b c F 0 B: get a HYBRID CAR!!!!!! don't listen to those ppl askin you to get a freakin gas-guzzler car (anytin w/v6 and up engine!!)--- altho many of them are ugly Honda has a Civic Hybrid in addition to its Insight. toyota has the prius, it's not preeti either but think of the environment!!! --- u get a $2000 clean-fuel vehicle federal tax deduction also. so :-)

Rebecca, Ansar, Jon and I visited car dealerships today.

My mom told me last night I had to go visit a Toyota dealership today and look at Camrys.
We visited:

Volvo. (Considered S40)

VW. (I don't like Passat or Jetta - and the guy was rude and apathetic as hell. JERK.)

Honda. (The guy was really nice - very helpful and friendly - drove us around on golf cart. The Hybird Civic is pretty cool. I liked it a lot. Good deal, too.)

Acura. (TSX TSX TSX TSX)

Notice none of the above were Toyota dealerships. While I liked my Camry, I really really really like the TSX. Every since I saw it, I knew it had to be mine. But then my mom said no way, I was getting a Camry.
So I tried to put the TSX out of my mind, out of my thoughts. But I could not keep it from appearing in my dreams.
Yes, I dreamed about it.
Glorious dreams. Dreams so real - I felt like I was actually running my fingers down its sleek contours, caressing the leather interior, breathing in the intoxicating perfume of a new car just shipped in from Japan. Dreams from which when I had awoken, left my mouth dry, my hands outstretched, and my heart pounding. I'd close my eyes to try to recapture the dream, but in my mind I only saw it drive further and further into the horizon - further... and further.. away.. from me....

Ok. Not really. But I really really like the TSX. And I really was going to listen to mommy and get a Camry, but when I saw the TSX in person today at the Acura dealership, I just had to have it. It is a wonderful car.

When I own one, (not if, WHEN,) you can see for yourself.
Hopefully that will be by the end of this weekend.

As I was reading and catching up on blogs/xangas, I briefly considered switching to xanga because people could make comments, and that seemed kinda nifty.
Then regained my sanity and chastized myself for even considered switching over to the dark side.
What the hell do I need people's comments for, anyways?
psH.
J/K. No offense to you people who all jumped on the Xanga bandwagon these past few months.
Blogger is the original.
Ask christine, who started off a devoted blogger tried xanga, and switched back.

Anyways.
I am still without a car.
It sucks to be stuck in surburbia without a car.
I do nothing.
I try to wake up earlier than noon, but I have no motivation. I set my alarm, but just end up smacking it until it turns off in the morning.
What's the point? It's not like I'm getting up for anything. It's very bad.
Then everyone elSE is on late, and sleeping late and waking up late is so much fuNNer, and everything's just working against my having a decent sleeping schedule.
So I give in.

I'm going to eat and read now.

I'm supposed to fix my sleeping schedule but I can't.
Argh. I slept very little last night, and woke up at 8 this morning.
I was supposed to go to sleep early tonight.
I watched cartoons for hours.
I have a question. How come superman's cape doesn't catch on fire or something, when he's walking through an explosion? He may be invincible, but shouldn't his clothes burn?

Geez I am hungry.
This is so bad. I need someone to help me get on schedule.
Anyone?

jerry and I made lasanga today. It took a long time, but it's reallY good. Next time, since I am now better schooled in the arts of lasanga making, it won't take as long.
It's really good.
I'm going to eat some now.

my car.
all I can think about is cars.
(never thought I'd say that...)

It's funny how many people have advice on what car I should get. It's really amusing.
And it's always nice to see that if you need something, you gotta give people incentive. After putting up on my profile that I will buy dinner for whoever suggests the peRfect car for me (I have to buy that car), I got double the suggestions I had previously.

It's pretty entertaining.
You can view the suggestions and candidates here.

I want to decide soon.. so I can start driving again!

I've been living in fear for the past few days.
I'd obsessively check my grades online, pRAYING I got an A in Biopsychology.
The one I had to make a 98 on?
If I got a B I think I would have killed myself.

BUT I DID IT!
I DID IT I DID IT.
I GOT A 98 on my final.
YAY.
I'm NOT A MORON!

Although I really really learned this year it's just so much easier to study earlier on..
No more B's ever again unless it's really because the class is hard.
Really.
I mean it.

AnD now that I don't have to cower in fear every time I near my computer, I can bLOG again!

I reallized I am a very anxious person.
I have these very vivid dreams, and they seem SO real. but they're usually all negative.
Something bad is happening, and I actually feeL it is real and I feeL SO sad/mad/worried/disappointed.
It's usually stuff I worry about during the day.
I wake up extrememly edgy and unhappy and uncomfortable.
I had horrible dreams last night, all about grades. The entire night.
It was so real! I had to talk to my teachers, and take tests over, and everything.
I hate myself so much right now.

I drowsily open my eyes this morning,
stretching my arms,
yawning,
listening to the birds outside my window
and watching the thin beams of sunlight slowly pierce through the blinds.
I slowly got up, was served a breakfast in bed,
and then proceeded about my day.

Or, I WISH that's how I had woken up.
(*#$*&@(#*&%(*@#%#
Instead, I was jolted awake,
eyes snapping,
ears bleeding,
curses flying,
and listening to the ShriLL GIggGLes of my beautiful suitemate *** pierce my ears and then my soul.

I HATE ***.
I can count almost a dozen people who have met her this past year and who will agree she's pretty damn rude.. and makes b*tchy mad dog eyes at you.
At least they didn't have to hear her talk on the phone. early. in the morning. to boys.

THat, my friend, is torture.
I mean, should someone let her know her voice and those fake giggles are ANNoying as %^&*?

"Hello, ***? I'm not sure if you're aware of this.... Um.. Oh Goodness.. I don't know quite how to say this.. Ahem.... Well, Sweetheart, I just wanted you to know - for your sake of course, Dear, that YOU SHOULD STOP USING THAT FAKE HIGH PITCHED VOICE AND STOP GIGGLING LIKE A FREAKING MORON. IT won'T make people like you more! ^_^ Really. And stop giving those b*tchy looks to my friends. HO."

That is all I have to say.
I'm so glad I'm leaving.
Thank you thank you thank God.

I love CHRISTY.
Like I love my mommy.
WHY?
BECAUSE SHE'S BEEN ACTING LIKE MY MOM FOR THE PAST WEEK.
"Stephanie?! Why are you so relaxed?"
"are you going to make an A tomorrow?"
"did you make an A on your Mythology test?"
"Are you going to make that 100 on you Biopsychology?"
"What did you dO all day?! Did you study?!?!!"
"STephanie? Why aren't studying??"
"Why can't you study in your dorm? WHy do you have to go out?"
"STEPHANIE!? WHY ARE YOU SO RELAXED?"
"AREN"T YOU WORRIED?!"

I"M TRYING TO ZONE OUT AND PRACTICE ZEN , OK?
BECuase that's the ONLY #$(8@)#52#% WAY i'M GONNA MAKE A HUNDRED!

Then my REAL mom calls me and asks "How did you do on your test?"

AHHH!!!
"I haven't taken it yet!! It's in two hours!!"

Christy just read what I was typing and now hates me and wants me to fail.
Sorry MOMMYs.
I know you nag because you care.

I plan on ignoring my final until absolutely necessary.
Maybe that'll work.

The year is ending..
it's sad.
next year will have to be pretty good to beat this one.
it also looks like my years will only get busiers. and craziers.
AHHHHHHHH

A lot of people made my first year memorable.
Thank you.

I am a moron.

My biopsychology syllabus states that we have
3 midterm exams - 25% each
1 final - 25%
If you miss a midterm, you can count the final as 50%.
The final can not count more than 50%

So you would assume, if I was a good girl and took all 3 midterms, she could drop the midterm and count the final as 50% as stated in the syllabus, right?
NO
Turns out I would be better off having NOT taken the third exam which she gave only a few weeks after the second one. I did not do so well on the third exam. I many tests that week, and I figured the final could count as 50%.
SO I should've just dropped the 3rd exam, and only had to make a 90% on the final.
NOW I HAVE TO MAKE A 100.
)#@($*&)@#($*)@#(*%@#%
How does that make sense?
You could have a better grade SKIPPING a midterm than taking all three and have her take the best of those 3 grades.
GAY.
@(*$&@(#*&(@*#&%@#%

I will scream songs at the tops of my lungs.
THen study like mad.
MAD.

I can't wait until finals are over, but I'm kinda of sad the way college ends.
It's not like high school, where there's a 'last day' you see everyone.
Clubs, classes, meetings just kind of dwindle.
The sky is overcast and I'm playing "easy listening" music on my winamp.
Sixpence None the Richer - Don't Dream It's Over
I'm sad..
But next year will be good, right?
I feel nostalgic and melodramatic and lonely.
This music isn't helping.
Edwin McCain - I could not ask for
If only we could replay the good times and fast forward through the bad ones.
Eric Clapton - If I could change the world
